Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. mainly produces a full range of polyurethane products such as isocyanates and polyols, as well as petrochemical products such as acrylic acid and esters. It is one of the world's most competitive MDI manufacturers and the largest TDI supplier in Europe. It ranks first in China's national industrial enzyme industry. The wastewater from the wastewater treatment project mainly comes from the production process of polyurethane such as isocyanates and polyols, and acrylic acid and esters. Our company undertook the construction of two phases of wastewater treatment projects in 2013 and 2016, with water volumes of 2400 m³/d and 1200 m³/d respectively. The comprehensive wastewater COD ≤50000 mg/L, TOC ≤3400 mg/L, formaldehyde ≤5060 mg/L, ammonia nitrogen ≤300 mg/L. Pre-treatment + MQIC anaerobic reactor is used to achieve COD ≤3000 mg/L, ammonia nitrogen ≤200 mg/L, formaldehyde ≤10 mg/L. The biogas produced by the MQIC reactor is used in the boiler to generate steam for the factory area.
